Welcome to COZYMAZU! Visit us to relax in a friendly atmosphere, enjoy our homemade dishes along with traditionally brewed oolong tea.
Super friendly, very helpful, obviously delicious, and one of the few places in the area that takes the pandemic (and convenience!) seriously and accepts contactless payment!
I especially recommend braised pork. It’s really the best I’ve ever tasted. The taro buns are also delicious.
The food and the advice are awesome. The homemade oil is the best I've ever bought. All attention. My recipe and I will be happy to invite my visit to dinner there. In the current time, of course, bring the food home. 👌👍
Wow a taste explosion. You can taste the attention to detail and good products with every bite. Nothing for the average savory eater, but if you like quality food and feel like wanderlust, you will find happiness here! Super nice reception and exchange when ordering. I will definitely come again, whether as a take away like at the moment or then on site.
Very good Taiwanese brunch. It really tastes exceptionally good and the portions are plentiful.
The food is simply great and the place is so cozy, so charming! I’m really glad to see a restaurant like this in Wedding. It’s worth the visit. Make sure to have one of their awesome home made lemonades.
Has the taro mushroom for appetizer, was really delicious. Also love the hot Ginger tea with a shot of rum, good for cold winter day. But I felt the price is a bit pricy
Super tasty food and good service. I always like to go there :) Unfortunately, I think the portions are a bit small for the price. Especially the bowls.
Delicious vegetarian food, very authentic taste and good oolong tea. The service was great too.
Really authentic and nice environment goes together with delicious food. They even have 3 vegan option for their main dishes. The price is very affordable for the quality and amount. However I would love to have more main dishes options. Tea is also great!
As a Taiwanese living in Europe for many years, this is one of the most legit Taiwanese restaurant I've visited!! Dont miss the soy milked made putting...Super tasty!
Home cooking style Taiwanese cuisine, warms your heart just like mama’s food
Very good restaurant, very good food and reasonably priced
Very authentic Taiwanese food.
Best Asian food in Wedding!
Yummie rice cakes
We went on a date here. Social distancing is well enforced here and we got a lot of space for ourselves. We had a meal, but that's not the main attraction for this tea house. I had a buddha rice bowl (not sure the exact name, but it was one of the vegan dishes). It was a glorified bowl of rice with some sides, not too inspired (and didn't feel it was worth the price). We also had one of the deserts that was made with soft tofu, lotus seeds, jelly and some syrup. It was excellent with the flowery oolong tea. We had 4 refills to the tea. The matcha mint drink was fabulous! Waiters were lovely and service timely. Visit for a cute evening and an old-timey taiwanese atmosphere!
My friend recommended me the cute restaurant. Donggua Tea tastes good and I like Tofu Pudding here. But the strong smell from the kitchen (maybe Lurou Rice) is a little bit uncomfortable, because I just want to eat some food without strong smell.
The food was ... Meeeh 😐 But the people who work there are super nice ❤️
Super nice service who met all requests with a smile (even under the mask). Our tea was filled up with hot water very quickly. Great service. The ambience is great, where especially the traditional music and the posters in the 50/60 year style create a wonderful atmosphere. To my surprise, the food is heavily seasoned, but put together appropriately. Where the appetizers and the tofu pudding, known for Taiwan, are the absolute highlights. Unfortunately, the vegan main courses are a tad too expensive, but that's not worth mentioning.
Clean food. Felt well prepared . Very nice ambient it really felt like in an Asian teahouse. Friendly staff. Portion of meat was a little on the stingy side. The ratio to the rice was not quite in Ballance. 2 people 50 euro. Was ok.
food was delicious, highly recommended
Very very very good. And great quality service. The tea is refined. I recommend the summer bowl. The pork is deliciously cooked there. A delight.
Very good tea in tiny cups, large selection and authentic interior design. With pleasure again.
Really cozy. Food quality is always good! Nice dishes brought me back to Taiwan :) Good service as well!
Came the first time 2.5 years ago and back then it was REAL Taiwanese taste in Berlin, during this period I've recommended and brought friends and colleagues here for authentic Taiwanese food! However nowadays it has changed. The main bowl (紅燒肉) I ordered was super salty(too much soy sauce and probably cooked for too long), the meat is basically almost DARK and dry, the minced cucumber is too much viniger, the rice is basically wet full of Sause... Cannot recommend anymore for this place, especially with its price, it's not anymore my dream place to go. Staffs are still friendly, in store Atmosphere remains tho.
Great service, but be aware if you go there before noon you cannot choose the non-breakfast options! I ordered “small breakfast” on their menu and it cost me €10. It was supposed to be porridge with oysters inside. I found the taste really bland, and there were only three tiny oysters in my porridge. Other than that it was just plain white porridge with no flavor, and too much of porridge with no proteins and good fats! Overall, for the amount and quality of food I was getting, it didn’t worth €10
Very good food, worth every penny.
I love this place. First of all, the decoration is magnificent, it makes me feel like I've stepped inside a totally different place of the world. We've had the vegetarian Rouzao Fan and a veggie bowl. They both tasted great and the portions were big. I'd love to try out their desserts in my next visit.
Really cool experience! Some dishes are available only during weekends and Thursday!
Overall we had a great time. Especially because it was certainly not your usual white washed Asian stuff you get otherwise in Berlin. It truly tasted as authentic as you can get in Berlin. Food quality, taste, amount and service was fair to the price. Sure the main dishes could have a better ingredient-rice ratio (too much rice) but the flavors were certainly there. It was just all a bit heavy, without a fresh option. Not saying it was greasy (not at all) but just all the rice and sauces made it heavier than expected. We had the two rice cakes and the two pork ones plus a dessert and where more than full at the end. Two drinks reach and the bill was 65+ €, which is okay in our book for the amount and great/authentic flavor.
Authentic and tasty!
Amazing Taiwanese food and great tea
I've been eating Congee my entire life and this place served me the best bowl I've ever had in my entire life. That is, if you like it savory style with a Thousand Year Egg, I recommend theirs. Fantastic Taro Baozi as well. I mean, you can close your eyes, blindly point to something on their menu and you can't go wrong.
Very authentic food and atmosphere and super delicious! Thank you very much for this little oasis in the big city!
Feels just like in Taiwan. Super great and cute interior design. Amazing food. A little pricey, but well worth it. The hong shao rou bowl was really amazing. The way the pork belly melts on your tongue... 🥰 Great pickles, too!!
This insider tip convinces with fresh, authentic dishes from Taiwan and the friendliness of the hosts. Quality for love of Taiwanese cuisine.
Cute cozy atmosphere. Very traditional Taiwanese decorations. Dishes are authentic and with a creative touch. It is really hard to find an authentic Taiwanese restaruant in Berlin. If you are curious or craving for Taiwanese food. This is definitely your choice.
Delicious, real Taiwan food, extremely friendly people and cosy atmosphere. A big recommendation, my favourite Asian restaurant in Berlin. EDIT: sadly, i have to say that 3 last times i was there, food that i've ordered was not good at all... once it had no taste (it was a meal that i ordered also before and it was super delicious) once the soup was extremely salty and didn't have any additional taste. It just doesn't taste like before. Staff is still extremely friendly and tried to help me by bringing, for example additional broth, but the dishes are just not like they were one year before...
I have to say the service is unprofessional, and food is just everage leave.
Cute Taiwanese restaurant in the up and coming Sprengelkiez. I picked the surprise menu with 6 courses including tea service. Great that you get three rounds of hot water for your green tea. Served in a authentic and cute tea set. The dinner started with edamame, which seemed a bit lame as part of a surprise meal. But the other two starters of morel salad and mini dumplings was great. Followed by a small rice bowl with pork belly and a side of cabbage. A bit odd that this was followed by a clear herbal soup with a rice cake since you usually except a soup earlier in a meal. The dessert was an excellent dish of ice cream and puffed rice. My friends at the table went more across the board for starters and they got really tasty and fun dishes. I would recommend to just go for as many starters from the vast appetizer section and treat the dinner as a small plates meal. One star deduction for the somewhat underwhelming selection of the 6-course meal, a fairly dull/weak cocktail and the - always annoying - cash only payment option.
Interesting food, terrible terrible service
Love the food here! If you're lucky, you can even eat the bacon, which is really a rare thing in Europe. The store is not easy to find, but the atmosphere is very cozy The decoration is also very beautiful and it feels like home Both taizi noodles and dry rice are recommended on the menu!
The dishes taste good, blending traditional Taiwanese and vegan elements well in an interesting way. My friend and I like the taro balls and seaweed rice cake pretty much. The shrimp roll was okay; I personally prefer the traditional ones. The vegetables was a little salty, better to have it with white rice. 28 Euro for these 4 dishes, a bit expensive for me considering their serving sizes. If anyone is interested in visiting, I’d recommend to order some main dishes with rice or noodles so that it won’t feel too empty...
It was nice ambiance and service, but lesser than acceptable from food perspective. I have had their menu dinner.
This place slaps.
Terrific little restaurant. Food is prepared and served with care and detail. So many unusual touches and flavours, this felt like something quite unique. The service was excellent and often included additional information about the dish or it's background. Looking forward to being a regular here.
Very yummy food plus great service! Great place
Nice interior. Good food but it’s expensive for wedding. And the service was slow and also was a bit dry.
Authentic Taiwanese food with very sweet staff. However, I’d expect lower prices in this Berlin-Wedding area. Taiwanese people are saying that good quality here is damn close to what they have in Taipei, so do your TW hours once in a while!
